So, we're finally done (pretty much) with our kitchen remodeling. Took a week of major overhaul, plus the last few weeks of tweaking. We still have a few miscellaneous tasks to complete, and I was waiting to post until we had EVERYTHING done, but that would take forever, so here are some of the before and after photos. See the entire renovation in progress (some 70 photos), if you really don't have anything better to do, by clicking here.

Wow, this looks incredible, you guys did a fantastic job!
Just flipped through your photo journal of the renovation... those instructions for mimes from IKEA are the best, aren't they? I sensed a measure of sarcasm in your comments about their instruction guide. It took three of us to figure out the sunshine light fixture we hung in Brenna's room.
Actually, I wasn't being sarcastic! Darrick loved the instructions. Would have driven me nuts not having anything to read.
That's funny, the instructions that came with ours was nothing but stick figure illustrations and no written directions at all. Luck of the draw I guess!
Ours were the same. No written directions, which would have driven me nuts, but I didn't have to follow them. Darrick put together the cabinets and installed the lights. All of the instructions for the different pieces were the same, with those weird schmoo figures. He found them easy to follow, and everything went together quickly and easily. I was certainly surprised!
Reminds me of those laundry care symbols used on clothing. I can't stand them. I need words. But manufacturers keep using them, so apparently some people find them useful.
I love it guys! Great color for the walls! I think I even see a dishwasher...nice!
